On Wednesday, 15 August 2012, Charlie was sitting in his cage, on his blanket, and his tiny head was shaking to the right almost as if it was being pulled by some force. He also had no balance, the poor little bun. I rushed him to the vet immediately where he was diagnosed with a torn eardrum and middle ear infection. He received a cortisone injection and anti-biotics for 10 days. I’ve been hand feeding him for the last few days, because he struggles too much to eat by himself. The vet said he might have a hanging head when he’s all better, due to his balance being off for such a long period and his neck muscles taking so much strain.
I am very happy to report that this morning after I gave him is medication, he ate by himself!!!
